The Blackpool-born actress teased that her relationship with her other half will be on full display in the upcoming reality show, along with some “exciting” developments for the couple.

She said her footie star lover had “really enjoyed” filming the series, which luckily coincided with his mid-season break.

In addition to this, the lovebirds chose to film a long weekend in Amsterdam for the show, fuelling speculation over the potential reason behind the trip.

Lucy stoked the fire further in her response to the question: “Is the only thing missing now a ring?”

She wittingly replied: “It is our first proper getaway as a couple. We had one night away for my birthday but this will be a few days so it will be really nice.. And watch this space.”

The Lancashire-raised actress continued to drop further hints: “Something exciting could happen you never know! I am hoping for some nice big juicy storylines.”

She continued: “Maybe having another baby in the next year or so. Maybe getting married! So just a few things.”

The upcoming show is an eight-part series centring around the lives of soap stars.

The talented couple met through friends back in 2017, and had a baby together last January, a son named Sonny Jude.

Ryan is a British professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Preston North End.

Lucy is best known for playing teenager Bethany Platt in Coronation Street between 2015 and 2020, before making a triumphant return to the soap from 2023.

Her character Bethany captivated audiences with storylines such as the hunt for Lauren Bolton.

Lucy earned an array of awards for her role, including a National Television Award for Best Serial Drama Performance back in 2018 and two British Soap Awards.

Her first, for Best Actress, was back in 2015 while in 2018 she scooped the gong for Best Female Dramatic Performance.

The thespian can now add reality star to her CV, with new show Drama Queens which is based in the North West.

The show follows the day-to-day lives of a group of female actresses from Britain’s biggest soap operas: Coronation Street, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks.

Joining Lucy on the show will be former Corrie star Ellie Leach, 23, Hollyoaks actress Jorgie Porter, 36, former EastEnders star Rita Simons, 47 as well as Hollyoaks actress and pop singer Jamelia, 43.

Lucy is optimistic for the future, and hopes a second series of Drama Queens could be on the cards.
