Coronation Street's Max Turner to spark Daniel Osbourne's murder plot ordeal

Coronation Street‘s Max Turner is set to spark a murder plot ordeal for Daniel Osbourne.

Police are investigating the recent disappearance of Lauren Bolton, with Daniel coming under suspicion given he was tutoring her for her GCSE English exam.

In new scenes set to air next Wednesday (March 13), Bobby and Max watch as police come and go from Lauren’s flat amid their investigation.

Bethany and Daniel head to No 8 and ask about Lauren, before Max starts to press Daniel on his tutoring sessions with her, and Max’s suspicions are raised as he realises the dates don’t stack up.

Max heads to the police station to tell DS Swain about Lauren’s O-Vidz account and learns that Ryan has already told her. She then asks Max about Lauren’s secret boyfriend, admitting he’s never met him but has suspicions that its Daniel.

Daniel is later questioned by Swain about his relationship with Lauren, as she suggests that Lauren paid for her lessons with sex.

This leaves Daniel horrified, and things get worse when Swain brings up his previous relationships with Summer and Nicky Wheatley. Realising he is under suspicion, Daniel demands a solicitor.

Will Max come to regret shining suspicion on Daniel, or will he stick to it?

Speaking recently about the storyline, Swain actress Vicky Myers told Digital Spy: “Swain is keen to find out exactly what Daniel’s up to – was he tutoring Lauren for sexual favours? As awful as that sounds, perhaps that’s exactly what’s been going on.

“We’re picking apart these people’s lives and how accepting the community is. But when you put it down on paper, you ask: ‘Is there an ulterior motive with this?’ So Swain is very much on that and wants to look into it further.”
