Coronation Street's Sabrina Adetiba accused of leaking information in Lauren Bolton story

Coronation Street‘s Sabrina Adetiba is set to be accused of leaking crucial details about Lauren Bolton’s life to the press as the latter’s disappearance plot continues.

In an episode set to air on Friday, March 22, repercussions hit the residents of Weatherfield after a story about Lauren in the press – whose disappearance is now being treated as a murder case – reveal that she was a sex worker.

With the story bringing up details about Cassie Plummer’s past, tensions are due to rise even further after Sabrina Adetiba is accused of being the one to blab to the media.

After a distraught Bobby appears at the salon and shows Max the article about Lauren – which mentions that she is a sex worker – the boys set off in search of Sabrina (Max’s girlfriend).

The pair are determined to find out who leaked the information to the press, but Sabrina is offended when they ask the question, assuring them that it wasn’t her.

Sabrina storms off from her boyfriend after the accusation, leaving Max feeling terrible. Will he be able to make it up to her?

Weatherfield residents only recently learned that Lauren’s disappearance is being treated as a murder investigation, after it was announced over the radio.

Suspects include Roy Cropper and Daniel Osbourne, after DS Swain recently interviewed him.

Swain actress Vicky Myers spoke to Digital Spy about the storyline recently, indicating why Daniel is a prime suspect.

“Swain is keen to find out exactly what Daniel’s up to – was he tutoring Lauren for sexual favours? As awful as that sounds, perhaps that’s exactly what’s been going on.

“We’re picking apart these people’s lives and how accepting the community is. But when you put it down on paper, you ask: ‘Is there an ulterior motive with this?’ So Swain is very much on that and wants to look into it further.”
