Coronation Street’s Sam Robertson slept with ITV groupies who ‘screamed Adam Barlow’ in bed
Coronation Street star Sam Robertson made his first appearance as Adam Barlow in 2004 and certainly made the most of being a soap star as he bedded a number of fans of the show
Sam Robertson admitted he slept with Coronation Street groupies during his first stint on the soap.
The actor, 38, made his debut as Adam Barlow in 2004, taking over the role from Iain De Caestecker. He starred on the ITV soap for three years before departing in 2007.
Nearly a decade later, Sam reprised the role of Ken Barlow’s (Bill Roache) grandson and has remained on the Cobbles ever since. When he first landed the role, Sam took full advantage of being a soap star.

Recalling the Corrie “groupies”, Sam explained the fans, who were “nice but kind of odd,” would hang around outside the set. He recalled bedding a number of these fans, who would go as far as calling him Adam in bed.
The Beaver Falls star added: “But girls still called me Adam half the time. It’s weird when the girl shouts out your character’s name in bed. It’s also an easy excuse to kick them out on the street and not have to pay for dinner though!”
After returning to Weatherfield in 2016, Adam married Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien). Their relationship broke last year when Sarah had an affair with Damon Hay (Ciarán Griffiths).
It looked as though the pair were going to rekindle around Christmas, however, Damon returned and Sarah chose to be with him. Adam has been plotting to get rid of Damon ever since.
He claimed the only way to get him out of prison is to pin Natasha’s murder on someone else. Later, Harvey called Adam to tell him a man called John Perry is willing to confess. When Adam tracked John down, he was stunned to realise the man is a cancer patient.
