Coronation Street’s Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) and Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) have left Weatherfield residents’ tongues wagging with news of their reconciliation.

The couple have had a turbulent year on the cobbles since Ryan protected Daisy in a cruel acid attack orchestrated by her evil stalker Justin Rutherford (Andrew Still).

Daisy then fell head over heels, catfishing Crystal Hyde (Erin Austen), a DJ promoter who had caught Ryan’s eye.

Meanwhile, he was trying to live with the horrific scarring and launched an O-Vidz account (Corrie’s version of OnlyFans) to reclaim confidence in his body and began using steroids.

When he found out that Daisy was pretending to be Crystal, his initial fury was short-lived and the couple then engaged in a steamy affair behind Daniel Osbourne’s (Rob Mallard) back.

As the ordeal was exposed, Ryan decided it was best for him to move away – with Crystal offering him a lucrative DJ residency in Glasgow.

We thought we’d seen the last of him, but in tonight’s episode he swanned back into the Rovers like he’d never been away.

Ryan had read the huge exposé that Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) had wrote for Chit-Chat magazine about the last year of his life, and after breaking up with Crystal decided he needed to return home.

Daisy was left conflicted over his return, and Carla Connor (Alison King) warned him of coupling up with her again.

However, in a shock turn of events, the two engaged in a smooch before walking hand in hand into the pub – shocking Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews). How will Ryan fit back into everyday life, and how will Daniel and Bethany react at his return?
