Coronation Street’s Toyah Battersby upsets Steve in Tracy and Tommy story
Is Steve really going to lose everything?
Coronation Street‘s Toyah Battersby is going to upset Steve McDonald in scenes set to air next week.
Steve and Tracy Barlow recently broke up after she started sleeping with Tommy Oprington, and now she’s trying to take things seriously with her new man, leaving Steve feeling dejected.
We already know that Tracy will invite Amy out for lunch with herself and Tommy on Wednesday, and now it’s been revealed what will happen on Friday.
In the scenes, Amy offers to watch a movie with Steve in an attempt to try and cheer him up. But Toyah ends up making things worse for when she lets slip that Amy went for lunch with Tracy and Tommy, and she seemed to really hit it off with him.
Toyah is gutted that she’s gone and put her foot in it, while Steve is worried that he might lose Amy as well as Tracy.
But is there even a future for Tracy and Tommy? Actor Matt Milburn isn’t so sure.
He told Digital Spy: “The fact that he’s crossed that bridge and not only got into a relationship, but taken a wife away from her husband and split up a marriage, suggests that he’s pretty serious about Tracy.
“In terms of the longevity of that, who knows? If he’s still got those thoughts in the back of his mind that he doesn’t want a serious relationship, then it needs to be a real strong bond for him to stay put.
“I think it’s one of those things where it’s up in the air and we’ll just have to see.”
