Since joining the Corrie in 2022, the actress has been at the centre of numerous dramatic storylines as the fiery and loyal teenager, Lauren Bolton. Her character has navigated intense situations, from dealing with her far-right extremist father, Reece Bolton (Scott Anson), to going missing after being left for dead by her abuser, Joel Deering (Calum Lill).
Cait 22, began her journey in the performing arts at the age of three. She attended Siddal Moor Sports College and the Carol Godby Theatre Workshop, where she also produced and sold her own CD to raise money for a children’s hospice.

Her career began in 2013 with a role on the CBBC show The Johnny and Inel Show as a child singer. She also appeared in Gigglebiz on CBeebies, 4 O’Clock Club, and in advertisements for brands like Asda and McDonald’s.

Cait’s rise to fame took a major step forward when she joined the cast of Coronation Street in 2022. Playing the role of Caitlin, she gained widespread attention as part of one of the UK’s most beloved soap operas.
Fans are now realising that Cait once auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent in 2020 after her audition tape resurfaced.. Cait reached the final with the sign-language choir Sign Along With Us. Their heartwarming performance of This Is Me from The Greatest Showman soundtrack won over the audience.
However, they were narrowly beaten by comedic pianist and singer Jon Courtenay. Despite this, Cait’s BGT journey seems to have worked out well for her, as two years later, she landed the role of Lauren on Corrie.
Soap opera lovers were gobsmacked after stumbling upon a TikTok video showcasing Cait’s BGT audition, sparking a flurry of surprised reactions in the comments section. One viewer gasped, “Omg I didn’t realise that was her!”

While another admitted, “The way I’ve watched their audition 100’s of times and never realised Cait was in the group, she’s so incredibly talented!”
Joining the chorus of amazement, someone else remarked, “No way I had no clue it was her now I can see it.”, reports Lancs Live. Another followed up with disbelief: “No way! I would never have guessed that was her!!”
In her personal life, Cait shares a close bond with her Corrie co-star Paddy Bever. The two took a trip to Tenerife in the summer of 2023, where they enjoyed some sunny holiday time together.
Sharing a photo from the airport on Instagram, she wrote: “It’s time for our jollies bby @paddynever.” Cait then uploaded some selfies of the pair loving life with a stunning sunset in the background. The pair were also snapped together following the British Soap Awards.
