Corrie’s Fiz ‘not pregnant’ as fans ‘work out’ what’s really wrong – and it’s heartbreaking
Coronation Street fans are convinced they have worked out what is really wrong with Fiz Dobbs - and it's not that she is pregnant with her and Tyrone's second child
Coronation Street enthusiasts reckon they’ve figured out the real issue with Fiz Dobbs – and it’s not pregnancy.
The beloved character, played by Jennie McAlpine, has been grappling with peculiar health symptoms of late, amidst a challenging period for the Dobbs family. The clan was left reeling after Alina Pop (Ruxandra Porojnicu) returned, bringing along her and Tyrone’s (Alan Halsall) secret son Dorin.
Fiz and Tyrone were then compelled to take in Dorin during Alina’s court trial. However, the situation took a dramatic twist when Alina and Dorin decided to leave Weatherfield permanently.
Adding to their woes, the couple discovered that their daughter Hope (Isabella Flanagan) had taken up vaping and was caught red-handed at school. Meanwhile, Fiz’s health problems persisted throughout the week on the soap.
While at work, she experienced bouts of dizziness and was advised by a doctor to take a pregnancy test. She later took one and was shocked to find out she was pregnant, reports the Liverpool Echo.
Fiz confided in Tyrone about the baby, who was eager for them to keep it. However, Fiz wasn’t too thrilled with the idea, feeling she simply didn’t have the energy for another child.
Later, Fiz and Tyrone had an emotional conversation where Fiz insisted she needed to terminate the pregnancy. She explained to Tyrone that they weren’t in the right place in their lives to have a baby.
However, fans now suspect a devastating twist is looming for Fiz as she ‘isn’t actually pregnant. ‘ Sharing their theories online, viewers speculated that Fiz could potentially be diagnosed with cancer.
One fan speculated on a Coronation Street Facebook fan group: “I don’t think Fiz is pregnant I think the positive result showing will end up being cancer.” Another added their thoughts, saying: “Yes, she just thinks she is pregnant something bigger is going on I think.” A third chimed in with a similar theory: “I don’t think she’s pregnant, it’ll be something like cancer.”
