Corrie’s Joel Deering’s next victim ‘confirmed’ as he begins chilling new plot

Coronation Street viewers were left on the edge of their seats as Joel Deering seemed to have found his next victim.

The character, who was recently unmasked as the murderer of Lauren Bolton, has been revealed to have a history of grooming and abusing young girls. Now, it appears he’s set his sights on someone new.

Max Turner’s former flame Sabrina made her return to Weatherfield in Friday’s episode following her brother’s arrest. She was spotted by solicitor Joel outside the police station.

Joel approached Sabrina, offering his legal services under the guise of wanting to help. He hinted at alternative methods of payment for his services, including monthly instalments, but it was clear his intentions were far from professional.

After all, Sabrina was aware of Lauren’s secret lover and the subsequent harassment. She also attempted to locate Lauren when she initially disappeared, before the police announced their suspicion of her death.

So, if Joel makes a mistake, could Sabrina piece together his involvement in Lauren’s disappearance?
