Corrie’s Lauren ‘will never be found’ as actor ‘has left’ after spotting ‘clue’

Lauren Bolton, played by Cait Fitton, has caused plenty of drama on Coronation Street - but now fans reckon the character will "never be found" amid her missing storyline

Coronation Street fans are fearing that Lauren Bolton star Cait Fitton has quit the soap.

The actress has caused plenty of drama since rocking up to the cobbles last year. Recently, fans will recall that the troubled youngster has gone missing from the soap.

Lauren’s love interest Bobby Crawford (Jack Carroll ) rocked up to her flat unlocked earlier this month with Lauren nowhere to be seen. Worried something terrible has happened, Bobby has been determined to find out what happened.

However, the police are now heavily involved after blood was found on the curtains in her flat. What’s more, prior to this discovery, soap legend Roy Cropper raised plenty of eyebrows when he suspiciously cleaned the entire flat.

However, now fans reckon the actress has actually quit the soap. Over on a Coronation Street Facebook fan page, one eagle-eyed viewer noticed something unusual about actress Cait’s Instagram page.

Alongside a snap of her profile, they wrote: “Has Lauren officially left? The actress’s Insta bio,” along with a confused face emoji. In Cait’s Instagram bio, it now reads “previous Lauren in @coronationstreet.”

Fans were left in a frenzy and rushed to the comments section to share their thoughts. One person said:” Gutted, I hope not.” Someone else penned: “That’s too bad. She was starting to gel with some of the people on the street.” A third chimed in and quipped: “She won’t be found – surely she’s dead?”

There are a number of familiar faces who fans believe could be responsible for Lauren’s disappearance, including a Cobbles favourite and a killer. Some fans reckon Nathan Curtis (Christopher William Harper) is Lauren’s mystery man. Nathan was part of a gang who groomed young girls, including Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) in 2017.

Footballer turned painter and decorator Tommy Orpington (Matt Milburn) has also been thrown into the mix. While he recently made moves on Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford), some believe his personal life is even messier than sleeping with a married woman.

Another popular theory is that Dee-Dee Bailey’s (Channique Sterling-Brown) boyfriend Joel Deering (Calum Lill) is the culprit. The duty solicitor arrived in the Cobbles last September and immediately hit it off with fellow solicitor Dee-Dee.
