Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) is currently ramping up her revenge plan against step-mum Jenny Connor (Sally-Ann Matthews) in Coronation Street, but it’ she’s not as easy as she expected.
Jenny has no idea that Daisy and Christina Midgeley (Amy Robbins) have concocted a plan to steal the £60,000 she inherited from shares in her name.
The landlady kept her windfall a secret from Daisy, leaving her feeling betrayed. Things only got worse when Jenny planned to buy the Rovers from Carla Connor (Alison King) behind Daisy’s back.
In retaliation, Daisy called in Christina and together they planned to catfish Jenny and scam her out of her cash.
Their plan reached new levels when they brought in Dom – the man Jenny thought she’d been talking to.
Dom, of course, was in on the plan, and wasted no time in attempting to convince Jenny to invest in his business, claiming that she could double her money.
Little do both Jenny and Daisy know, Dom is actually Christina’s boyfriend, and the couple are planning to run off with the money themselves.
In tonight’s episode, Christina was left horrified when Jenny and Dom came downstairs, having clearly spent the night together.
When Jenny opened up to Daisy about the events of the previous night, she admitted that they hadn’t been intimate, but Dom had listened to her talk and let her fall asleep in his arms.
It was clear that Jenny was really falling for him, and she even confessed that she’d not felt this way about a man since Leo.
Seeing how happy Jenny was left Daisy doubting the plan, and whether it was really worth causing her so much emotional hurt.
Later, she confronted Dom about letting Jenny pour her heart out to him, telling him it was cruel to lead her on and begging him to just stick to the plan.
Though Daisy is unaware that Christina and Dom’s plan is different to her own, she quickly sensed that there was something more to their relationship this evening.
However, when she questioned Christina, she insisted that there was nothing between them but some harmless, flirtatious banter.
Will Daisy get to the truth? And will she continue with the plan to con Jenny before leaving the cobbles for good?
