‘I cheated on Ellie Leach but now I want her back’, says ex amid Bobby Brazier romance

The ex-boyfriend of Strictly Come Dancing winner Ellie Leach has opened up about his regret after cheating on her in a night club – and shared his determination to win her back.
In recent weeks, the former soap star has been romantically linked to her fellow Strictly star Bobby Brazier. The co-stars were most recently snapped on tour together as their friendship and possible romance begins to blossom.
The former Coronation Street star, who played the role of Faye Windass on the ITV cobbles, was also linked to her professional dance partner Vito Coppola. Fans went wild with suspicion after they wowed the judges with a series of sizzling routines throughout the ballroom competition.
However, the pair have dismissed any thoughts of romance during their time on the show, insisting that they just connected on the dancefloor. Now, the actor’s ex-boyfriend Reagan Pettman, 22, has told The Sun on Sunday that he regrets a drunken snog which ended of their five-year romance.
As the brunette beauty dances the days away during the nationwide Strictly tour this month, her former flame confessed he wants to rekindle their romance. He told the publication: “I hurt her and broke her heart. I’m not proud of it.”Speaking about the moment that lead to the breakdown of their relationship, Reagen said: “It sounds cliche but I was really drunk and it all happened at once. I knew what I had done was wrong and instantly regretted it.
“I want to rebuild the tryst again and for her to be back in my life. But if she’s happy with Bobby, then I am happy for her. But I really miss her.”
Reagan met Ellie on an acting course at The Manchester College and dated for five years, with the pair going on the first date together in July 2017 at the age of 16. His cheating confession comes just weeks after Ellie was axed from Corrie after ITV bosses decided they no longer want to see Faye return to Weatherfield.
Detailing the moment when he realised their romance was doomed to end, Reagan confessed that he started drinking in his hometown of Preston when he met the person he kissed in a nightclub. He explained: “I was chatting with the girl on the dancefloor then all of a sudden we kissed.
“I can’t remember what she looked like. I didn’t know who she was and I instantly just felt horrible. I couldn’t even remember what I thought or felt at that moment.”
Reagan came clean four months later, hoping the pair could work through things but explained that Ellie felt that the trust had gone and ended their relationship. Speaking about the dating rumours that Ellie could be dating Bobby, who plays Freddie Slater in Albert Square, he insisted that he’s “not jealous or angry”.He added that he is not ready to move on from Ellie just yet. Speaking about their split, he added: “I have lost the person who I thought I was going to spend forever with. But you have got to learn lessons in life… and it might be one of the hardest I have had to learn.”
