ITV Coronation Street Bethany Platt’s pregnancy ‘confirmed’ and baby dad ‘revealed’ in big twist
Bethany Platt recently returned to the Coronation Street cobbles but fans are convinced she is pregnant and are sure they've worked out who the dad is
Bethany Platt’s pregnancy has been rumbled by Coronation Street fans – and they know who the dad is.
The much-loved character – played by Lucy Fallon – headed back to the Cobbles recently, leaving her mum Sarah Platt surprised, but happy to see her. Sarah has had a rough few months following her split from Adam Barlow over her affair with Damon Hay.
Aside from that, Sarah has also had trouble with her family after her uncle Stephen Reid was outed as a serial killer and subsequently died when Peter ran him over in shocking scenes last year. However, she will no doubt be thrilled to see her daughter back home.

However, Bethany was quick to tangle herself in a love triangle on her return. She slept with Daniel Osborne on her first night back, and quickly got on the wrong side of his ex Daisy Midgeley. Bethany has been acting shady since she returned, taking secret phone calls and such – with fans convinced that she is hiding a pregnancy or a connection with someone else that she doesn’t want people to know about.
Fans are convinced Bethany is playing a dangerous game with Sarah’s ex Damon Hay – who recently made a return to the Cobbles to take revenge on Adam and try and get back with Sarah – but could she be hiding something else? “Was Bethany on the phone to Damon?” one wrote, whilst a second added: “What’s the betting Damon tries to get it on with Bethany to get back at Sarah?” A third shared: “Bethany and Damon maybe? There’s no way Sarah would be ok with that. She would never speak to Bethany again,” as a fourth wrote: “Mark my words Bethany and Damon are dating and she’s pregnant with Damon’s baby.”
Actress Lucy previously revealed Bethany’s “feisty” side would be back on her return to Weatherfield. “I know she was super feisty when she came back in 2015, but then obviously with everything that happened, it kind of got rid of that side to her. I think she’s come back, and that side has very much come out again with Daisy. So it’s been really fun having those scenes with Charlie, basically just being b****y to each other!” she said.

“Daisy is a strong female character, and Bethany is also a strong female character. I feel like they’re going to clash, and also obviously, they both want the same thing. I think there’s going to be a bit of a power battle between them both. But I also think that I can’t imagine Bethany, with everything that she’s been through in the past to do with men, the stuff with Nathan, I don’t see her just being out to get another woman or another girl on the Street for a long period of time. So I’d like to think eventually they would be more friends, rather than hating on each other like they are at the moment!”
