Coronation Street fans have been left concerned after learning who Lauren Bolton’s boyfriend is.
Fans of the ITV soap are convinced they’ve rumbled the identity of Lauren’s partner after spotting a telling clue tonight. At the end of Wednesday’s episode, we saw a man arrive to see her on Valentine’s Day but not who he is. However, tonight it was revealed that Lauren has bruises on her and that this man is very dangerous, leaving fans sure they know who he is.
Taking to social media, fans have been giving their verdict on who the mystery man is, with guesses having included Bethany Platt’s abusive ex Nathan as well as Damon Hay’s son Jacob and even killer Rob Donovan.

Tonight, fans seemed convinced that they’d worked out the identity of the mystery man. One wrote: “Ah so it is it’s Nathan #Corrie,” whilst a second added: “#Corrie is Lauren being abused.” A third shared: “What the hell is going on with Lauren? #Corrie,” with a fourth explaining: “laurens boyfriend is nathan isn’t it, why oh why would you do this corrie #Corrie.”
Cait Fitton – who plays Lauren – previously teased to us that Lauren is in a lot of danger by the man, who is preying on her vulnerability. Speaking to The Mirror at the TV Choice Awards, she said: “There’s a lot of danger there. She’s a vulnerable 18 year-old-girl so she’s bound to make mistakes, but she’s still young. It’s a shock for Lauren because she blurts out [her secret] to Max, but Sabrina as well, and she’s not that close to Sabrina so it’s quite complicated. Even though she can’t accept it herself she’s expecting other people to, which is interesting to play but there will be a lot of danger ahead.
“I can’t reveal too much but it’s a very exciting storyline. Corrie always do an amazing job smashing all their serious storylines, so all I can say is stay tuned.” She went on: “Lauren lacks a lot of self-confidence and self-love, which is why she’s doing a lot of what she’s doing. Things didn’t work out with Max, she lives next to Sabrina, there’s still that barrier up between them.”
She added: “She wants to be close with Max but doesn’t wanna interfere with their relationship. But she’s visioning what she wants for herself with these massive obstacles in her way, and she does what she has to to get what she wants.”
