ITV Coronation Street fans work out who will save Lauren – and it’s not Max or Bobby

Coronation Street fans have rumbled who will save Lauren Bolton after she was seen with nasty bruises.

Lauren has started seeing new arrival Bobby but when the pair were having some time together last week, Lauren was revealed to have multiple bruises on her shoulder, which were no doubt caused by her ex. He is still contacting her and arrived at her house on Valentine’s Day, but his identity has remained a secret so far.

In a turn of events, fans have been left convinced Lauren could be dating Bethany Platt’s ex Nathan whilst others think killer Rob Donovan might somehow be involved or even Jacob, the son of Damon Hay, who made a shock departure from the Cobbles.

Lauren actress Cait Fitton has warned there’s lots of danger to come for “vulnerable” Lauren.

Speaking about what’s to come, she shared with The Mirror: “There’s a lot of danger there. She’s a vulnerable 18 year-old-girl so she’s bound to make mistakes, but she’s still young. It’s a shock for Lauren because she blurts out [her secret] to Max, but Sabrina as well, and she’s not that close to Sabrina so it’s quite complicated. Even though she can’t accept it herself she’s expecting other people to, which is interesting to play but there will be a lot of danger ahead. I can’t reveal too much but it’s a very exciting storyline.

“Corrie always do an amazing job smashing all their serious storylines, so all I can say is stay tuned. Lauren lacks a lot of self-confidence and self-love, which is why she’s doing a lot of what she’s doing.”

She added: “Things didn’t work out with Max, she lives next to Sabrina, there’s still that barrier up between them. She wants to be close with Max but doesn’t wanna interfere with their relationship. But she’s visioning what she wants for herself with these massive obstacles in her way, and she does what she has to to get what she wants.”

Now fans are convinced they know who will help save Lauren from her ordeal. One shared on Reddit: “I feel like Bethany is going to be the one to find out who Lauren’s boyfriend is I think that either Bethany goes round to interview Lauren for a story, finds some of the Ovidz stuff, which makes me think it may be Nathan who’s Lauren’s boyfriend, as didn’t Bethany start out doing ‘YouTube’ videos with Nathan. It just all just seems very familiar.” Another added: “I agree, too much of a coincidence with her coming back, befriending Lauren etc.”
