Coronation Street has hinted at a dark new plot ahead for Dylan Wilson (Liam McCheyne) as it was revealed he had been carrying a knife for the last few months.
Friday’s episode of the ITV soap saw Mason Radcliffe (Luca Toolan) uncover Dylan’s secret after an incident at the precinct.
Fans saw a lad try to steal Dylan’s bag, but Mason caught up with him and managed to wrestle it back.
After spotting something in his bag, he then ordered Dylan to meet him at lunchtime.
Later on, Dylan revealed he had been carrying the knife since Mason was released from young offenders earlier this year.
Corrie fans will remember that Mason led a gang from Weatherfield High who tormented Liam Connor (Charlie Wrenshall).
Mason also framed Dylan for possessing a knife, before he was later sentenced to a spell behind bars.
Throwing back to these previous events, Mason assured Dylan that he has nothing to fear anymore as he is now a reformed character, urging him to hand the knife into the police station.
Later on, Dylan assured Mason that he had surrendered the knife, but it was clear he was not telling the truth – what danger lies ahead for the teenager?
