Leanne kills Toyah in Coronation Street as she fights for life amid shocking allegation?

Leanne Battersby’s (Jane Danson) world fell apart when sister Toyah (Georgia Taylor) started a relationship with her partner Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) in Coronation Street.

Because their affair happened when Leanne was embroiled in a cult, Toyah and Nick reached an agreement to end it, hoping it would prevent Leanne from further hurt.

However, as time ticked on, they realised their feelings for each other ran deeper than they thought, and wanted to give things a go as a proper couple.

Understandably, having your almost-husband dump you for your sister has hit Leanne hard. In the initial aftermath, she tried to get her own back by framing Nick and Toyah for fraud – which backfire spectacularly.

Her concerning behaviour continues this coming week in the show, but is Leanne capable of killing her sister in a final act of revenge?

After someone posts a lit rag through Number 8, it doesn’t take long for the community to realise the house is on fire.

Trapped inside is Toyah, who is quickly pulled to safety. As Nick supports her, Leanne approaches, but he realises she’s drunk and quickly sends her away.

Hoping for news about her sister, Leanne joins Nick in the hospital waiting room. There, he accuses her of starting the fire, but Leanne says she had nothing to do with it.

However, as Leanne looks for her purse in her coat pocket, she finds a box of matches.

Towards the end of the week, Leanne tells Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) that all she can remember from her evening is seeing Toyah go into Number 8, and then waking up in Victoria Garden with matches in her pocket.

But was she responsible?
