Coronation Street‘s Dylan Wilson makes a rash decision in Brody’s bullying storyline.

onight’s hour-long episode saw Sean Tully asking Glenda Shuttleworth for £500, lying about being skint and concealing he’d been blackmailed by Brody.

At the Secure Training Centre (STC), Brody has been pressing Sean to give him the money, threatening to hurt his son Dylan would if he didn’t pay up.

Meanwhile, a desperate Sean resorted to swiping some cash from Julie Carp’s collection at the factory.

Eileen and George were shocked to see the collection box mostly empty, with George voicing his suspicions about Sean after Glenda told him about their exchange in the morning.

Sean headed out by faking a dentist appointment, but was actually going to the precinct to leave the envelope full of cash for Brody.

Spotting him outside the station, George and Eileen stopped Sean.

“Stealing from a dying woman, Sean,” George said in disappointment.

Sean admitted having swiped the money but said he couldn’t delivered it to Brody’s thug.

“I just kept picturing Julie’s face,” Sean said, returning the envelope to George and Eileen.

At the STC, Brody was furious Sean hadn’t paid him and took it out on Dylan.

“You’re as pathetic as your old man,” the bully said as he kicked Dylan.

They were interrupted when the director called Brody in for a chat.

At the Rovers, Sean told George and Eileen he’d called Dylan’s worker at the STC to alert him about Brody’s actions and admitted smuggling a burner phone in the centre through Daniel.

Worried to be seen as the one who’d grassed Brody, Dylan asked to see his key worker and pretended he and the bully were friends.

When Sean visited, Dylan got angry at his dad for interfering.

“You threw me under the bus,” the teen said. “I’m in here, it’s every man for himself,” he continued.

Sean was worried about his son and insisted he was only trying to protect him, but Dylan cut their chat short.

“I’m sick of hearing your bleating,” he told his dad.

“Mum was right, what she said about you. You’re just a waste of space.”

He left, leaving Sean to figure out Brody’s next move.
