Paedophile Nathan’s return ‘confirmed’ as truths are exposed in Coronation Street
Way back in May, Nathan Curtis (Christopher Harper) – the pervert who abused Bethany Platt – was arrested for Lauren Bolton’s (Cait Fitton) apparent murder.
At the time, it certainly looked as though Nathan was responsible for the crime. He had created an O-Vidz account to contact young women on there – including Lauren – and also had a USB stick in his van, with the contents being enough to prove he breached his sexual harm prevention order.
With a desperate Sarah (Tina O’Brien) wanting Nathan behind bars to prevent Bethany (Lucy Fallon) from spiralling even further, she made her way to Nathan’s van and nearly planted a hair tie belonging to Lauren inside.
But then Kit (Jacob Roberts) found her.
Kit planted some of Lauren’s hairs in Nathan’s van, which was enough to have him arrested.
Now DS Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) knows Joel (Calum Lill) was actually responsible for attacking Lauren, the case is effectively unfolding again.
During Betsy’s (Sydney Martin) attempt to open up to her mum about Mason’s (Luca Toolan) latest threats, Lisa is pre-occupied when her phone rings.
Later, at the police station, Lisa pulls Kit aside for a chat and asks him about the evidence planted on Nathan, but how will he react?
And how will this impact Nathan’s future behind bars?
As it stands, we still don’t know whether Kit planted the evidence as part of another plan to save Joel, or because he wanted to see Nathan – a disgusting abuser – back behind bars.
Will this moment allow us to learn more about the real Kit Green?
