Pregnant Coronation Street star Lucy Fallon reveals due date as she gets ready to welcome baby girl
PREGNANT Coronation Street star Lucy Fallon has revealed her due date as she anticipates the arrival of her baby girl.
Lucy, 29, who rose to fame as Bethany Platt on the ITV soap, has been keeping her followers updated on her pregnancy journey with her boyfriend Ryan Ledson, 27.
Taking to Instagram yesterday, the actress posted a video alongside a heartfelt message about self-care during the final weeks of her pregnancy.
In her caption, Lucy shared: “Slow mornings, self-care, and some @floradixuk love. Spending the morning with me means cherishing these quiet moments and making time for self-care.
“With just a few weeks left until baby number 2 arrives, these routines are more important than ever.”
Lucy, who already shares son Sonny, 23 months, with Preston North End footballer Ryan, reflected on the challenges of being pregnant while parenting a young child.
She added: “Being pregnant while chasing a toddler is tiring, but Floradix Liquid Iron & Vitamin Formula has been a lifesaver!
“It’s helped me maintain healthy iron levels and steady energy throughout the day, so I can savour these special moments before our family grows.”
The star also reminded her followers to seek medical advice before using supplements, particularly during pregnancy.
Lucy and Ryan, who met through friends back in 2017, welcomed their first child in early 2023 and announced they were expecting their second baby in August 2024.
The soap star previously quit Weatherfield in 2020 after five years, but returned last year.
In 2024, she appeared on reality series Drama Queens, alongside fellow Corrie stars Brooke Vincent and Ellie Leach.
As well as sharing her highs, Lucy revealed on the show that before welcoming their son, she and Ryan, 26, tragically experienced a miscarriage when they first got together.
Speaking about her first scan, she said: “I didn’t expect anything to be wrong.
“That was one of the most difficult things me and Ryan have ever had to go through, and I think I really struggled with it after, because it felt like everybody sort of moved on.
“Everyone else’s lives sort of went back to normal, and I felt like I couldn’t.”
Lucy previously told Ryan that she was keen to have a big family and would want at least three kids, but while Sonny is now in a better sleep routine she’s had a rethink.
In an interview with The Sun on Sunday’s Fabulous magazine, she said: “I’ve changed my mind now. I couldn’t do it! My sister Laura has three – all boys, too. Maybe just one more.
“I do like being a young mum. I feel like I’m still 17, then I remind myself: ‘You are 29 this year!’ Having children changes things.”
