Next month David will be threatened at knife point by one of Harvey’s men who reveals the criminal wants him dead for his life insurance.

While David is spooked, he survives the ordeal until things esclate.

While stumbling down the cobbles drunk, David’s life will flash before his eyes as a car hurtles towards him.

However, pregnant Daisy dashes out of the pub after Daniel confronts her about whether he’s the father of her baby.

In a bid to escape the confrontation, she runs out into the street – and is hit along with David by the car.

After hearing the commotion, Nick, Sarah, Daniel, Jenny and Kit fly out of the Rovers to find David and Daisy seriously injured.

Coronation Street viewers will see Shona left horrified to find David bleeding to death as Kit dials for an ambulance.

Meanwhile, Jenny and Daniel rush to be with lifeless Daisy and beg her to wake up.

It remains to be seen if the pair can survive their ordeal – and if Daisy’s unborn child will make it.

It comes as The Sun revealed how Charlotte Jordan had quit Coronation Street.

The 28-year-old has played the role for four years.

Coronation Street airs these scenes from Wednesday, March 5th at 8pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
