Roy in devastating court ordeal amid attack claim in Coronation Street spoiler video

Roy bị thẩm vấn tại tòa án ở Corrie

Roy Cropper (David Neilson) is in court in upcoming Coronation Street episodes, ready to be questioned after Lauren Bolton’s (Cait Fitton) murder of Joel Deering (Calum Lill).

Viewers will remember that when Lauren went missing at the start of last year, DS Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) wrongly arrested Roy for her death.

When he was released and Lauren returned to Weatherfield, the kind-hearted man understood the ordeal she went through with Joel, and knew resenting her for not showing up sooner and getting him released would not be the best reaction.

Lauren killed Joel towards the end of 2024. She hit him over the head with a rock, and then threw his body into a river with help from Max (Paddy Bever).

Max tried to take the fall for Lauren, but Kit (Jacob Roberts) arrested her. In the coming instalments, Lauren will discover her fate as her trial concludes.

In this new video, Roy is asked to leave the witness box but refuses, due to having more to say.

He tells the court that Lauren is not a violent person, and believes she’s a decent, ‘good soul’.

Roy’s comments about Lauren are interrupted due to a lady standing up from her chair. Brie is sporting a brace on her arm and says Lauren attacked her last night.

This sparks whispers among the jury, leaving Lauren fearful the claim will impact their view of her and overall verdict.

The chaotic situation continues when Lauren’s barrister explains that baby Frankie has been taken to hospital. Upset that she’s stuck in court, Lauren tells the prosecution barrister during Max’s cross examination that she’s glad Joel is dead.

In the week, after learning that Frankie is fighting an infection, Lauren regrets losing her temper and tells Max that she doesn’t care about the trial, and the only thing that matters is Frankie’s health improving.

While Lauren keeps vigil by Frankie’s hospital bed, the barristers deliver their closing statements to the jury while in court.

When Dee-Dee (Channique Sterling-Brown) calls and tells Lauren that the jury can’t reach an agreement, she starts to fear it’s a bad sign.

Back in court, Lauren arrives, ready to hear her verdict.

But what will it be?
