Roy in serious danger from evil Joel in Coronation Street as he closes in for revenge

Joel confronts Roy in the cafe in Corrie

More deranged than ever before, Joel Deering (Calum Lill) realises he has nothing to lose in Coronation Street next week and sets about putting Roy Cropper (David Neilson) in serious danger.

When the truth about Joel came to light, Dee-Dee (Channique Sterling-Brown) and DS Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) seriously struggled to have him arrested due to the lack of concrete evidence.

DS Swain’s boss then informed her that as a result, Joel’s case would be closed. This frustrating development led to Swain and Dee-Dee working together on the sly, willing to risk their futures just to nail Joel.

In upcoming episodes of the ITV soap, Joel turns his attention back to the relationship he once had with Dee-Dee.

He approaches with their wedding rings and, declaring that he still loves her, says the rings are a reminder of everything he’s lost.

In the week, Lauren (Cait Fitton) finds Dee-Dee and reveals that she’s been following him a lot on a tracker app. Lauren goes on to confirm that Joel has spent a lot of time in a field, then an industrial park and to top it off, has just transferred her £5,000.

Clearly up to something, Joel is then seen opening a notebook and writing a letter – on the same day he was meant to marry Dee-Dee.

Heading back to Weatherfield, Joel stumbles into the café and finds Roy all alone.

The evil solicitor is holding a bottle of whiskey and is clearly very drunk. He locks the door and stares at Roy – what will happen next?
