Nathan Curtis (Chris Harper) is set to be left for dead when he is attacked in upcoming Coronation Street scenes, and a new spoiler video shows Sarah (Tina O’Brien) and Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) trying to figure out who is responsible.

Nathan was recently spotted by terrified Bethany at the reconstruction of Lauren Bolton’s (Cait Fitton) final movements, and she grew instantly suspicious that he had something to do with her disappearance.

She instantly reported her suspicions to police, demanding that they pull him in for questioning, before tracking him down to a nearby building site herself.

As Bethany grows more obsessed with proving that Nathan was involved in Lauren’s disappearance in upcoming scenes, her family decide that they need to do something to stop Nathan ruining her life all over again.

Later, Nathan is approached by a hooded figure at the building site, before he is hit over the head and knocked unconscious.

Though there are a number of suspects, Bethany worries that Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) is the one responsible, after David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) clears himself of the crime.

In the new spoiler video, Sarah and Bethany discuss Lauren’s disappearance, as Sarah reminds Bethany that no one knows who is really behind it.

Bethany is quick to insist that Nathan should be in police custody instead of a hospital bed, which prompts Sarah to ask about Daniel, who has been questioned by police.

Bethany reveals that they only asked him a few questions, and Sarah suggests that maybe he’s telling the truth, though Bethany still seems suspicious.

As Bethany asks who else could be behind the attack, Sarah looks shifty.

Has she worked out who the real culprit is – or does she have something to do with it herself?
