It has seen Abi Webster left mortified after the fake footage of her was posted online, and unable to figure out who was behind it.

However this week in Coronation Street, she was seen telling her husband Kevin that she had done some digging and believed Stefan Brent was behind it all.

Stefan is the dad of Corey Brent, the teen who was jailed for killing Abi’s son, Seb Franklin.

Abi discovered Stefan was board director of the production company that made the documentary about Corey which she had campaigned to have taken down.

He also owns the magazine and she concludes he must have created the deep fake videos out of revenge.

Having reported Stefan to the police, Abi and Kevin watched as DS Swain dragged him into an interview room, fervently hoping that their nightmare would soon be over.

Unfortunately, spoilers for upcoming episodes of Corrie have revealed Stefan will continue to twist the knife into Abi.

Kevin will be seen confiding in Tyrone that Stefan has agreed to pay to take down the deep fake videos.

But later, Stefan tells Kevin that the deal is off as he’s not willing to pay the £60k per year to take the videos down.

The situation leaves Abi at her wits end, so she explains to Kevin that she needs to get away for a few days and she’s going to stay with Lynsey and the twins.

As Abi heads out, Kevin does his best to remain positive.

But what does the future hold for the couple? And will Stefan continue to cause havoc?
