Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) lands herself in hot water with Danielle Silverton (Natalie Anderson) next week, as confirmed in the latest Coronation Street spoiler video.
As viewers of the ITV soap have seen recently, Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) has fallen head over heels for scaffolder Theo Silverton (James Cartwright).
It soon became clear that Theo wasn’t open about his sexuality, with him fleeing the Grimshaw home when Todd’s family returned home early from a day trip.
Theo had something to hide – he had a wife of 19 years, Danielle, and two two teenage children.
Todd was gosbmacked, but couldn’t resist meeting up with his new fella again.
In scenes that aired this week, Sarah is meeting Kit (Jacob Roberts) for a date in the Viaduct Bistro when she strikes up a conversation with Todd.
Danielle and Theo soon enter, and invite them to share a table.
She’s under the impression that Todd and Sarah are an item, and in a bid to cement the lie, they kiss! Kit is, naturally, shocked.
The situation soon complicates when Danielle spots Sarah flirting with her real man, and George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) explains that Todd is gay.

As the spoiler video shows, next week, Sarah comforts Theo when he admits that he’s fallen for a man, and doesn’t know how to address the situation.
His family mean everything to him, and it would ruin Danielle’s life.
They sit down on the Underworld steps for a heart to heart, and she wraps her arm around him.
This is rather convenient timing, as Danielle then strolls around the corner!
She’s furious, thinking that she has witnessed her husband being unfaithful with Sarah.
This can only end badly…
