Showdown looms as Bethany Platt and Daisy Midgeley come face to face in tense Coronation Street spoiler video

Things haven’t exactly been friendly between Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) and Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) since Bethany’s return to Coronation Street, but she is set to try and extend an olive branch, as a new spoiler video reveals.

In upcoming scenes, Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) is set to finally find out that Bethany has been working for Chit-Chat Magazine when he picks up a call from the editor on Bethany’s phone.

The writer then has no choice but to admit that she has submitted and article about Daniel, Daisy and Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott), leaving Daniel completely gobsmacked.

Bethany is quick to assure Daniel that she will never do anything to hurt him again, and promises that she will talk to Daisy about what she’s written.

Unfortunately, as the new video shows, Daisy isn’t quite as open to the idea of a conversation.

When Bethany asks her to go for a coffee, Daisy is hesitant, but some encouragement from Glenda Shuttleworth (Jodie Prenger) soon changes her mind.

As the pair attempt to bury the hatchet, it soon ends up in one of their backs as the conversation descends into a row, leaving Bethany desperately fighting her corner.

Things go from bad to worse for Bethany when she’s forced to admit to Daniel that Chit-Chat Magazine refused to pull the article.

Daniel’s furious as Bethany suggests that they should just keep quiet and hope that nobody reads it.

Will the article fly under the radar as Bethany hopes, or is she set to face another storm?
