Tracy Barlow caught romping with Tommy Orpington by neighbour in Coronation Street
Could Tracy's secret be exposed to everyone in the cobbles?
TOMMY Orpington rocked the cobbles again and almost immediately embarked on an affair with Tracy Barlow.
Unfortunately for the pair, one Coronation Street resident starts to put two and two together after they’re caught in the act.
Times have been hard for Tracy and Steve McDonald’s marriage as the cabbie admitted it himself during a conversation with his pal Tim Metcalfe.
Little does he know that his wife chose to take on his idol, Tommy Orpington as a lover in recent scenes of the ITV soap.
Coming up, Steve (played by Simon Gregson) admits to his daughter Amy (Elle Mulvaney) that he’s been neglecting Tracy (Kate Ford) and he plans to make it up to her with a romantic meal at the Bistro.
Tracy throws a smug grin over at Tommy (Matt Milburn) but she’s forced to mask her guilt over lunch as Steve apologises and assures that he still loves her.
When Tracy reveals that she’s got the house to herself as Steve’s on an airport run, Tommy can’t resist.
At the same time Gav Adetiba (Noah Olaoye) sets about cleaning the windows at No.1, with Tim (Joe Duttine) giving him a hand getting to grips with the ladder.
But when Tracy sees Tim’s face at the bedroom window, she screams while Tim is mortified and hurries down the ladder.
Tracy appears in her dressing gown and convinces Tim and Gav that she and Steve were enjoying a bit of lunchtime fun but she’d be grateful if they kept it to themselves.
Back at home, however, Tracy’s luck begins to turn as Tim tells Sally about the incident.
When Steve later tells Sally he spent all day in his car, she secretly wonders who was really in bed with Tracy.
Will she find out?
As mentioned above, Steve has admitted that his marriage is at risk after a series of harrowing months.
Trouble began after their daughter Amy was raped by Aaron Sandford.
Determined to help her get justice, Steve and Tracy were ready to face potential bankruptcy to pay for their daughter’s legal fees.
Overwhelmed with guilt, Amy decided against it but she still struggled with the psychological weight of her attack for several months.
This caused further tension in Tracy and Steve’s marriage as they dedicated all their attention to Amy.
Moreover, the couple have had a hefty history with infidelity, although they always managed to patch things up.
Could Tracy’s affair be the obstacle that ends their marriage?
