Tyrone Dobbs takes desperate action to keep son Dorin in the country in Coronation Street
He has also been consulting with a lawyer about his rights to look after the boy
TYRONE Dobbs is going to do something drastic to try and keep his son nearby in an upcoming episode of Coronation Street.
The mechanic only recently discovered he had a little boy when his ex, Alina, came back to the cobbles to testify in a human trafficking case.
After finding out about Dorin, Tyrone became determined to take on a parental role in his boy’s life.
He has been looking after the toddler as Alina went into hiding before giving her witness statement.
But just as Dorin started to bond with his dad and half sisters, the traffickers were found guilty and Alina made plans to come and get her son back.
Much to Tyrone’s shock, she is planning to move to Romania with the young boy.
Tyrone started looking into potentially starting a battle for custody, but he is about to do something much less legal in an attempt to keep his son close to home.
Viewers will soon watch in shock as he steals his ex’s passport so that she will not be able to fly abroad.
Alina is overwhelmed when she arrives at the airport and discovers she does not have her travel documents.
She rushes back to the Dobbs family home and asks Tyrone’s wife if she has seen Alina’s passport anywhere.
Fiz does not want her husband to get in trouble for his actions and decides to hand the passport over.
The heartbroken dad attempts to have a family video call with Dorin, but Alina tells him it will be too upsetting for the young boy to spend prolonged periods of time chatting to his dad and sisters.
Unhappy with how Alina is tearing the family apart, Fiz tells her husband that she never would have returned the passport if she knew it was going to strain his relationship with Dorin.
What she doesn’t know is that Alina hasn’t hung up yet and hears every word.
Will this revelation convince Alina to cut Tyrone off from his son forever?
