Unexpected Coronation Street couple ‘confirmed’ as they reveal they’ve slept together

A new Coronation Street couple may have just been confirmed after a revelation that they have slept together.

Max Turner (Paddy Bever) and Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) have grown close over the last few months, following Lauren’s return to Weatherfield.

However, this has caused tension in their relationship with Bobby Crawford (Jack Carroll), who has made his feelings for Lauren clear.

He previously admitted to Max that his feelings haven’t changed since before Lauren disappeared, and he still wanted to be with her.

In tonight’s episode, Bobby discovered that Max had lied in order to get out of hanging out with him, and things got even worse when he found out he was with Lauren instead.

Bobby was quick to confront them both, pointing out that they had been acting weird and demanding to know what was going on.

After skating around the issue for a while, Lauren finally dropped a bombshell that she and Max had slept together, leaving Bobby gutted.

Upset that Max would go behind his back knowing how he felt about Lauren, Bobby stormed out.

However, later in the cafe, Bobby told Max that he was willing to put it behind them as he valued their friendship too much.

He told Max that if he wanted to pursue a relationship with Lauren then he had his blessing.

But, were Lauren and Max telling the truth?

A lot of people have been acting shifty on Coronation Street recently, following the murder of Joel Deering (Calum Lill).

Could Lauren have made up an excuse as to why she and Max were acting weird in order to stop Bobby asking about Joel? Do Max and Lauren have something to do with his death?
