Liam Connor (Charlie Wrenshall) is set to face a terrifying ordeal when Mick Michaelis (Joe Layton) seeks revenge after a harmless prank in upcoming Coronation Street scenes.

Mick was recently offered a job at the builder’s yard by Gary Windass (Mikey North), after he helped Liam when a group of thugs attempted to steal his phone.

However, his behaviour toward the young lad in upcoming scenes is far from friendly.

When Mick dumps cement over Liam as part of a prank, he laughs along, pretending to be one of the lads.

It isn’t long before the youngster spies an opportunity to get one over on him.

When Mick takes a sip of his tea and promptly spits it out next week, Liam bursts out laughing, pleased to have got his own back by lacing the cuppa with washing powder.

Unfortunately for the teen, Mick fails to see the funny side, and their prank war quickly gets out of control.

When Liam heads into the tool shed, Mick locks him in, and a frightened Liam is left calling out for help – though no one can hear him.

The next day, when Gary sends Liam on an errand for bacon sarnies from the cafe, he is concerned when he doesn’t return.

Soon, Gary and Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) find Liam sulking at Roy’s Rolls, and he finally opens up about Mick locking him in the tool shed, leaving Maria horrified.

When Gary arrives back at the builder’s yard and finds Mick searching for something in the tool shed, he locks the door behind him to give him a taste of his own medicine.

He then announces that Mick is fired, riling him up even further.

Later, Mick confronts Gary and violently punches him, but he may have taken on the wrong guy as Gary grabs a bottle and goes to attack.

Having witnessed the altercation, Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) steps in and insists that Gary drop his weapon – but will Gary relent?
