Coronation Street’s Amy disgusted by Tracy’s vile actions
Coronation Street’s Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney) is disgusted with her mum Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) this week when she takes delight in Cassie Plummer’s (Claire Sweeney) misfortune.
Amy is feeling much less vengeful than Tracy towards Cassie, who was caught out for drugging Ken Barlow (William Roache) last month.
With Cassie’s nearest and dearest having turned their backs on her after her crime came to light, she has found herself with nowhere to live.
And last week, fans of the ITV soap saw Cassie have to bed down for the night in the ginnel after running out of money and options.
On Monday, Tracy is delighted to hear just how Cassie spent the night.
Amy overhears her mum gloating and is utterly appalled – but little does she realise the role Tracy played in Cassie’s situation.
While Ken has decided against pressing charges on Cassie, Tracy decided to conduct her own revenge.
Luring the former addict to No.1 under the false pretence of a lunch to thrash out their differences, Tracy offered up a bag of drugs to Cassie.
And things are set to get worse for Cassie later this week when Roy Cropper (David Neilson) catches her red-handed trying to score drugs from a dealer at the precinct.
The good news is, however, that Cassie’s mum Evelyn Plummer (Maureen Lipman) is back in Weatherfield – and she’s set to make a huge decision about how best to support her troubled daughter.
