Coronation Street return ‘sealed’ for icon 25 years after debut as fans spot Carla ‘clue’
Coronation Street has left viewers stunned as Becky Swain (Amy Cudden) was revealed to be alive, but some fans are predicting another familiar face is about to arrive in Weatherfield to surprise Carla and Lisa.
During Monday’s episode of the ITV soap (September 9), Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) celebrated her 18th birthday, but her special day ended in tragedy when she witnessed Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) get struck by a car.
With Carla Connor (Alison King) by her side, Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) raced out of the house to find Betsy and fortunately found her safe as Tyrone lay unconscious in the road. The car swerved at the last minute and instead of hitting Betsy, it ran straight over Tyrone who was left in a very bad way.

Later at home, Betsy and Lisa had a heart to heart and Lisa handed over one of Becky’s necklaces for her 18th.
“It was your mum’s”, she said. “I’ve waited four years to give you this.”
Lisa poured herself a glass of wine while looking at an old picture of her, Betsy and Becky as she brushed over the past.

But behind her someone let themselves into the back door – wearing the same green coat that Roy Cropper (David Neilson) saw a woman wearing in the hospital.
Lisa turned around and screamed as she dropped her wine glass all over the floor as shock wiped across her face.
The copper was shocked to see her ex-partner Becky alive in front of her, who simply said: “Hello Lise.”
Becky’s shock return is certain to cause friction between Lisa and Carla, who are planning to get married.

Coronation Street fans are now predicting Carla will turn to her ex-husband Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) for support as the mystery behind Becky’s return will unfold.
