Coronation Street fans have been left gobsmacked after realising where they have seen the actress who plays Asha Alahan’s work supervisor before.

On the cobbles this week, the soap aired a special episode that showed the traumatic and heartbreaking events Asha (Tanisha Gorey) had to endure while on shift as a trainee paramedic.

Along with her supervisor Sienna, Asha was called out to look after an injured elderly resident and assist with a nasty bike crash. Although she managed to revive the bike crash patient and transport him to hospital, he later passed away.

What’s more, things took a shocking turn when Asha was the victim of a vile racist attack from a drunk woman whom Asha was trying to help. As the woman became increasingly aggresive towards Asha, she eventually lashed out and scratched her arm.

Sienna is Asha’s supervisor

The shift had a huge impact on Asha who afterwards started suffering terrifying panic attacks and flashbacks, while turning to drink.

Clearly struggling, Asha also lost her temper and screamed at Brody Michaelis (Ryan Mulvey) while in Speed Daal for arguing with another customer.

Concerned, Sienna attempted to calm her down but later on told her behaviour was worrying and that if she did it again, she would have to report her, leaving Asha gutted.

Fans have worked out where they have seen her before

However, amid all the drama going on at the moment, fans have been left floored after working out where they have seen the actress who plays Sienna before.

On a Corrie Facebook fan page, one person mused: “What else has Sienna been in? I recognise her face.” Someone else also added: “She was in This England 88.” A third chimed in: “Knew I recognised her!”
