Coronation Street fans are convinced they’ve rumbled who is secretly pregnant on the cobbles.
In spoilers next week, an unexpected pregnancy is exposed, leaving a cobbles legend in shock.
In the upcoming scenes, David Platt’s daughter Lily complains of a stomach ache, but her father is sceptical and sends her to school anyway, suspecting she’s just trying to dodge school.
Later, David moans to his sister Sarah Platt about how Lily has been quarrelling over a boy and attempted to avoid school, which worries his sibling.
The situation intensifies when David sees new neighbour Carla Connor disposing of rubbish in his bin. After sifting through the items, he’s intrigued to find a pregnancy test.

Assuming it belongs to Betsy Swain, a smug David shows his sister Sarah in an attempt to gossip, but when she suggests it might be Lily’s, his delight quickly turns into sheer horror.
Later in the week, Sarah uncovers a secret pregnancy on the cobbles. Meanwhile, David reacts as the owner of the pregnancy test comes forward, but can they keep it a secret and who does the secret pregnancy test belong to?
Taking to social media, soap watchers are convinced they’ve rumbled the secret person who is pregnant. One person said: “The Platts are rocked by news of a surprise pregnancy on Coronation Street next week – but which family member is unexpectedly expecting?”
To which one account replied: “Probably been someone walking by from another household and put it in their bin wouldn’t surprise me if it was Abi!”, a different soap watcher put: “David will assume it’s Sarah’s, he will ask Carla and Swain but I have a feeling it be Abi’s x” while another commented: “It’s probably Abi!”

Elsewhere, others were quick to suggest Bethany Platt could be pregnant as her soap return looms. One person said: “Bethany,can just see David taking the micky out of Sarah becoming a grandmother!” while another added: “Bethany’s is back very soon, maybe her…”
This follows actress Grace Ashcroft-Gardner making her debut as Lily Platt, taking over from Brooke Malonie back in July.
Lily is the daughter of David and the late Kylie Platt, portrayed by Paula Lane. She is also the half-sibling of Max Turner, played by Paddy Beaver.
Betsie and Emmie Taylor assumed the role from September 2014 until May 2016, succeeded by Brooke Malonie later that year, before Grace Ashcroft-Gardner recently stepped into the position.
Meanwhile Lucy Fallon, who plays Bethany, confirmed she had returned to ITV soap filming back in July after giving birth to her second child.
