Coronation Street viewers are convinced they know who Brody Michaelis' real father is after Kit Green suggested he and Lou do a DNA test
Coronation Street fans think there;s yet another bombshell twist on the cards in regards to Brody Michaelis’ true parentage.
Recently, Kit stumbled upon the possibility that he’s Brody’s biological father, a result of an affair with Lou while her partner Mick was incarcerated years ago.
In classic soap opera style, Mick also uncovered this revelation and set off to confront his adversary Kit, armed with a bottle of booze and a baseball bat.
Unfortunately, it was PC Craig Tinker who bore the brunt of Mick’s rage. After stopping him for speeding and drink driving, Mick assaulted Craig with the bat, leading to the young officer’s tragic death in hospital from his injuries.
Following a hostage situation involving Kit and his mother Bernie Winter, Mick was finally arrested. Meanwhile, Brody, oblivious to the fact that Kit might be his dad, blamed the detective constable for his family’s disintegration, reports Leicestershire Live.
Monday’s episode of Coronation Street saw Kit Green decide to get a DNA test on potential biological son Brody Michaelis
So far, Kit has shared his suspicions about Brody being his son with Bernie and girlfriend Sarah Platt. On Monday night, Kit proposed to Lou that they should take a DNA test to confirm if he is indeed Brody’s father.
However, the episode took a shocking twist when Kit, Sarah, and Bernie found Brody injured in an alleyway, a shattered whisky bottle nearby.
Kit rushed the young lad, who had suffered a seizure, to the hospital. There, Brody expressed his gratitude to Kit, revealing his epilepsy and frequent incontinence, to which Kit vowed to keep his secret safe.
As the episode drew to a close, Bernie presented Kit with Brody’s cap that she had sneakily taken from his hospital bedside, suggesting he get it tested due to the abundance of hair on it.

In the concluding moments, both Bernie and Sarah were seen urging Kit to submit the cap for DNA analysis, leaving viewers in suspense over whether he’ll follow through with their suggestion.
Meanwhile, eagle-eyed soap fans believe they’ve cracked the mystery of Brody’s paternity, suspecting that neither Kit nor Mick is the father. Social media has been abuzz with speculation from the audience.
