Coronation Street fans ‘rumble’ latest whodunnit and it’s bad news for Noah Hedley

Coronation Street's Noah Hedley could be in danger at the hands of an unknown assailant

Coronation Street fans are convinced they’ve worked out the soap’s latest whodunnit, and it’s bad news for Noah Hedley.

Theo Silverton, played by James Cartwright, first debuted on the ITV soap in March as a new romantic interest for Todd Grimshaw, portrayed by Gareth Pierce.

Subsequently, it was disclosed that Theo was married to a woman named Danielle, played by Natalie Anderson, with whom he shared two adult children.

Theo confided in Todd that he had spent his entire life concealing his sexuality, as his devoutly religious parents had pressured him into conversion therapy during his youth.

In May, a character named Noah, played by Richard Winsor, appeared at the Rovers, waving at Billy Mayhew, portrayed by Daniel Brocklebank. This led a stunned Theo to hurriedly exit the pub, reports Leicestershire Live.

Theo later opened up to Todd about Noah, explaining that he was a man from his church who administered conversion therapy to him.

This week, Noah returned to the cobbles, causing further turmoil for Todd and Theo.

On Monday (July 21), Noah confronted Theo at the Bistro, labelling him a “sinner” before handing him a leaflet promoting his community centre group.

During Wednesday’s (July 23) episode, Todd discovered the discarded leaflet at number eleven. Although George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) attempted to alleviate his concerns, Todd remained convinced that Theo might fall prey to Noah’s sinister plans.

The plot thickened when Theo was spotted arriving at the community centre for a meeting with Noah, followed closely by Todd and Billy.

However, when Todd and Billy arrived at the meeting, Theo wasn’t present as Noah was busy conducting conversion therapy on some local men.

A fiery confrontation soon took place, with Todd getting Noah in a headlock while one of the men captured the drama on his mobile.

Back at number eleven, George discovered a distraught Theo on the sofa. Theo confessed that Noah knows how to push his buttons due to their past run-ins, revealing his inner turmoil and vulnerability.

Later, Theo crossed paths with Noah outside the Corner Shop, where the villain made it clear he isn’t leaving anytime soon.

“Your new friend has got a lot to answer for, and I’m gonna make sure that he does. He’s undone a lot of my hard work, not to mention put your mortal soul in peril… I’ve saved you once, and I’ll do it again,” Noah warned.

“I just want you to let me live my life,” Theo pleaded, only for Noah to ominously retort: “I can’t do that, I’m afraid. You see, rescuing sinners is a 24 hour vocation. I’ll be seeing you.”

After witnessing the tense showdown, several Corrie fans are convinced that a fresh whodunnit involving Noah is on the cards.

“Another murder on the street in the weeks to come. Crazy cult god is going for a sleep with the fish. That’s what I think is going to happen then it’s a whodunnit,” one person wrote on Instagram.

Another chimed in: “My blood boils watching this storyline. Noah is awful, hopefully someone will give him a taste of his own medicine,” while a third opined: “Noah is defo in danger, he has lots of enemies.”

A fourth viewer echoed these sentiments, predicting: “I sense a new whodunnit with Noah coming up. Lots of suspects who have motive to kill him – Billy, Todd, Theo, George. Things could get interesting.”
