ITV Coronation Street legend ‘set for exit’ after 21 years in bombshell Aadi plot

A Coronation Street legend could be leaving the cobbles after 21 years in a bombshell Aadi Alahan plot.
Fans of the soap will be aware that there’s been an undercurrent of romance between Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney) and Aadi (Adam Hussain) for nearly two years, culminating in a memorable kiss at Aadi’s party back in June.
The celebration, however, took a sinister turn when Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) unwittingly drank from Aadi’s LSD-laced cup.

After experiencing hallucinations of her deceased abuser, Joel Deering (Calum Lill), and taking a tumble down some steps outside Underworld, Lauren ended up in hospital with fractured ribs and a ruptured spleen.
A remorseful Aadi supported Lauren through her recovery, but only revealed the truth about her spiking last week, reports Leicestershire Live.
In Monday’s episode (August 11), Aadi’s father, Dev (Jimmi Harkishin), resolved to send him to India after discovering the truth about the party and staged shop burglary.
Amy comforted Aadi, assuring him she knew he wouldn’t intentionally harm anyone, shortly before the pair slept together at the Barlow residence.
Their romantic interlude was abruptly interrupted when the police arrived at number seven to arrest Aadi, following Lauren’s report about the party incident.
Upon his release without charges, a disgruntled Aadi confronted Lauren for attempting to “ruin” his life.
Lauren then disclosed to Amy that Aadi had been dishonest about the spiking incident, confronting him: “[You were] using me, weren’t you? And then you dumped me as soon as [Amy] showed you a little bit of interest.”
Aadi hit back: “Lauren, I’m sorry things turned bad between us. There’s no need to ruin my life. You’re just coming across as needy now, you know?”
Unimpressed with Aadi’s behaviour, Amy delivered a cutting response: “Maybe you were right earlier. Maybe you should just move to India.”
These dramatic moments arrive just weeks before Aadi’s exit from the cobbles, following actor Adam’s confirmation of his soap departure back in April.
Following the episode’s broadcast, numerous Coronation Street viewers flocked to social media platforms to share their speculation that Amy might be expecting Aadi’s child, and could potentially accompany him when he leaves to maintain their family unit.
One fan posted on a Facebook group: “Is Amy gonna end up pregnant with Aadi’s baby?”
Someone else replied: “Well? I did wonder!!” whilst a third commented: “I was thinking exactly the same thing.”
A fourth supporter agreed, writing: “That’s what I think too. This is definitely not going to end well.”
Meanwhile, another enthusiast suggested: “This could defo be true. With Aadi leaving soon, maybe Amy might leave with him if she learns about the baby?”
